"They have this folk art, where they paint objects in this way (...) the colours are incredibly happy - bright red, yellow, oranges... when you see these colours in the brilliant sun of the desert, they just make you smile, and every time I pick this up, it makes me smile. It makes me think of all those colours, because these are the colours people wear in Kutch."
