LGBTIQA+ Flags

One of the most popular displays in the 2019 exhibition was a wall of LGBTIQA+ flags, where visitors left post-it notes with their reactions. Many said seeing 'their' flag made them feel welcome, while others shared that this was the first time they discovered a description which aligned with their identity.

This is only a small selection of the many flags used by different groups within the LGBTIQA+ community, showing the huge diversity within our community.

A new addition since the 2019 exhibition is the Intersex-Inclusive Pride flag (bottom right), created by Valentino Vecchietti. You can read more about the flag here: https://www.consortium.lgbt/intersex-inclusive-flag/.
