Subject

Alt text

Two collage and blackout poetry postcards.

1. Collaged pieces show a person in swimming gear (a one-piece costume, a swimming cap, gloves and socks/boots) with their arms spread wide above their head and legs folded in a 'w'-shape suspended in mid-air above dark blue water in front a sunset background. On the left, above the water, is a cut-out of what looks like a graphic representation of a virus or bacterium; it is made up of pink holey nodules with orange dots. On the right-hand side of the postcard is what looks like stone under water, possibly granite. At the bottom, a piece of cut-out text in a serif font reads 'bad men's drawers'.

2. Blackout poetry formed of two separate paragraphs. The blacked out text causes the text to read : 'Closer was obliterated, opened. This city wasteland of parks and [break for next paragraph] working and gas. It was slum doubt immense vandalism.'
