Two collage postcards.

1. A collage and black-out poetry postcard. The background is formed from a single, torn, grainy photograph of a sunset/sunrise over dark water. On the right is a black and white photograph of a nude person in midair, diving into a river. Black out poetry, formed of four paragraphs and stuck on top of the background, reads: 'How to swim. appreciate swimming [break] that wonderful sense of laziness rousing all forces of resistance. New confidence and power [break] play the fool [break] what a glorious human experience.'

2. In the centre of this postcard is an image of an iridescent oil spill mixing with clear water. Overlaid on top of that is a torn photograph of a crowd on a protest march. One person, seen from behind, has a t-shirt that reads 'Don't poison our water'. Around and on top of the main photograph are words handwritten in felt tip: 'it's hard to imagine now, but back in early 20th century water companies used to release raw sewage into our rivers. It took the work of many activists to make that practice illegal & now our rivers are clean'.
