Pat: Got into punting, and we’d do racing in these punts. We’d have it empty. And we used to go all around the waters.
[Voice in the background]: And you used to do rowing, didn’t you?
Pat: Ooh yes. But we gave up. We had a five rowing team. But because women were doing it and they shouldn’t be doing it, we had lots of chats[?] and that’s [unintelligible] from the towpath and we had to give it up. Oh, you’d be surprised, yes. That’s not ladylike [laughs].
